Below you will find a compilation of our Terms and conditions, for clarity, to help reduce the possibility of any misunderstanding, between counsellor and client.
Bridges consultations are done online for through zoom or Skype or teams or google meeting links provided by Bridges not by the client.
These sessions are merely consultations and in no way they are to be considered a therapy for any diseases or disorders and any advises given by Bridges’ consultants are merely advices which the client is not obliged to apply and is responsible for any repercussions. Bridges global LTD cannot accept responsibility for the client’s response to counselling and that the client acknowledges any advice or assistance given during the session does not create any legal liability, on the part of the individual counsellor/advisor or of Bridges’ global LTD.
Bridges global LTD does not give any medical advice or give any medical diagnosis, physical or psychological. However, your advisor may give guidance and will encourage any client with a medical illness or condition, to seek advice from a medical doctor.
The client has to book his/her appointment via Bridges’ website according to the availability of sessions.
Each session of 30 minutes will cost 50 GB pounds + VAT, multiple sessions can be booked but sessions are unchangeable and non refundable except before 72 hours before the time of each session.
Cancellations are possible only before 72 hours before the time of the session. However a refund will only be possible if the payment was made through paypal, the refunded amount may be around 90% of the paid amount.
If the client misses his/her appointment without notice or unable to cancel within 72 hours, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full session, will be incurred.
The client must keep his/her camera opened all the time during the session. If the client turns off the camera, the counsellor at Bridges might end the meeting immediately.
During the session the client will have the opportunity to present his/her case, the clearer he/she does the better the advice they will get from Bridges’ advisor.
Any delays caused by Bridges will be compensated by an extra time but if the delay is from the client then the time wasted will not be substituted.
PAYMENT:
1. Counselling fees are paid in advance upon booking the appointment.
CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT:
We observe confidentiality within Bridges Global LTD. However, in order to provide effective service, your advisor may discuss your case with a supervisor, or counselling colleague for the purpose of reviewing the work done with you. You will be identified by either a number or first name, without your personal details being shared during this process.
GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR):
1. In accordance with the GDPR of 2018, our updated contract reflects the new policy. Therefore, we request your permission to hold your data in a safe and confidential place on our computer or file records once you have contracted with a counsellor at Bridges, throughout your therapy. Your details will be held for 3 years and will be discarded thereafter.
2. We also request your permission to use your data appropriately, solely for communication purposes with yourself via phone, text, and email and/or a referral to a 2nd or 3rd party, such as another counsellor within Bridges or a professional, such as your GP or a Health/Social worker. Should you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak with your advisor.
3. If your contact details change for any reason, during the course of your therapy, please notify your counsellor asap and provide your new current details.
