Bridges is a platform for people to dialogue in a friendly atmosphere, and educate each other through interfaith activities and gatherings, where everyone can share their thoughts, views and most importantly questions! ‘Bridges’is not about converting people to Islam, it’s about letting people understand the true teachings of Islam.
We believe that "Ignorance" is the enemy, and therefore peacemaking can only be achieved through education; and as the future is in the hands of the Youth, we work on empowering them with the skills and the knowledge that allows them to know themselves, understand their religion, their history and understand other people's cultures and mindsets.

The
New Era
The founder of Bridges Foundation is a survivor of one of the most tragic events, 9/11, after which he started giving lectures and presentations about Islam in schools, universities, churches and synagogues all over the USA. He had the a weekly TV show "the Islamic show" on channel 30 in the Washington DC metropolitan area, a weekly Radio show titled "let the Quran speak on 700 AM and was the Muslim chaplain of the American university @ Washington DC between 2001-2005. He also served as the Director of the world assembly of muslim youth "WAMY" in North and central Americas.
Fadel Soliman is an electronics engineer, but also holds a Masters degree in Shari'a, a member of the International union of Muslim scholars, a member of of the Supreme council of Islamic affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt between 2013-2014.

The director of WAMY (World Assembly of Muslim Youth), North and Central Americas’ office between 2000-2004.
The Muslim Chaplain of the American university in Washington DC, between 2000-2004.
Fadel is a Public speaker who spoke about Islam in hundreds of Churches, Synagogues & universities in the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa like; Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Edinburgh universities in the UK . Trumso university & Oslo university in Norway, Shehir, Marmara & Ibn Haldun university in Turkey. Polytechnico university in Italy. The universities of Colombo in Sri Lanka. and the university of Hong Kong. The university of cape town in South Africa.
And the universities of Maryland, George Washington, George Town, Carlisle, VA tech. & the American university in Washington DC in the USA, his lectures and presentations were attended by more than 100,000 Muslims and non Muslim in 45 countries

Vision
To be the pioneers in building bridges between people of different backgrounds and train Muslims on becoming public speakers and professional presenters capable of presenting Islam as a culture and way of life to their fellow non-Muslims.
Mission
Opening communication channels to narrow the existing gap – of knowledge and understanding – between Muslims and non-Muslims, through educating both sides about each other’s culture.
Divisions
The vision and mission of the foundation are realized through two main divisions:
Public Presenters for Peace (PPP)
Is a group of certified presenters specialized in presenting the true values of Islam to non-Muslims, in all languages, through presentations that explain certain concepts such as Jihad, Women in Islam, The Veil (Muslim women’s outfit) and Human Rights. These presentations were presented to thousands of people around the United States and Europe rectifying their misconceptions about these topics.
The International Institute for Training Presenters (IITP)
Is an institute that trains Muslims on how to present Islam to non-Muslims appropriately. How to answer the questions raised, and handle the misconceptions they have about Islam. The training is acquired through a 15-hour workshop which each attendant receives a certificate upon finishing.
Our programs have had strong impact in the past in different places, such as the Department of Defense, the Department of Correction, many universities, high schools and churches in USA, the book fair of Frankfurt during the Arab league, and many other events.
Our board of trustees consists of many renowned scholars like Dr. Jamal Badawi, Dr Zaynab Abdul-Aziz & Ms. Yvonne Rhidley, may Allah bless them all.
